The whale watching is the practice of observing whales and other cetaceans in their natural habitat, I was very curious and interested in this experience.
During my trip for sure I could not miss the chance to see whales along the coast of Boston, in fact it was one of the main reasons for the choice of the city.
It was my first experience of this kind and despite strong light, the direction of the sun wrong, the huge 300 mm mounted on the camera, the movement of the boat, the dolphins and whales that swam everywhere, I managed to take some decent pictures.

The rapid growth in the number of trips dedicated to whale watching and the huge size of the vessels used may influence the behavior of whales, is a long and open debate.
Common rules and common sense suggest minimizing the speed, the number of vessels present at the same time in areas rich in cetaceans.
The three major whaling nations (Norway, Japan and Iceland) also have a large economy tied to whale watching.
Many argue that a whale is worth more alive than dead. It’s absolutely true, and it is also clear to most coastal communities involved in whale watching that profits can be really interesting and also horizontally distributed to the whole community and not only to whaling industries.
I lived very intensely the experience of the whale watching and when I found myself in front of these beautiful and immense creatures and I’m not ashamed to say that my feelings have become tears.
When I realize that men, seeing a whale, do not think of nothing but profit and if it is more convenient to kill them or get people to see them, I realize once again that we do not deserve one more day on this planet.
