Corsica is really a spectacular place, after being in Sicily and Sardinia could not miss the third largest island.
Reachable from Savona in six / seven hours by boat Corsica has a beautiful beach with warm, clear waters, nothing to envy to my beloved Sardinia, and is definitely a good compromise between journey and costs.
The difference is made by geology, I’m not going into details for experts, but while Sardinia is full of flat landscapes Corsica is about mountains of Alpine genealogy.

On the island cordiality and good food are not missing, as you can see from the photos this trip was basically about rest and relaxation, so there are just some pictures of beautiful landscapes. I did so much snorkeling in waters rich of fish and actually I spent hours and hours in the water every single day.
We decided for the southeast of Corsica not far from Bonifacio, an area of sheltered coves and warm sea, like Rondinara bay. It not missed a few laps in the hinterland and the last days were spent visiting the coast to the east of Bastia.
I’ll spare you then camping and beaches photos and I have only selected the most deserving for geometry, composition, color, atmosphere.
